Description
QuantSeq REV Custom Sequencing Primer (CSP) is used as a sequencing primer for Read 1 of libraries prepared with the QuantSeq 3′ mRNA-Seq Library Prep Kit REV Kit (QS REV Kit). CSP ensures that sequencing reads start immediately after the poly(A) stretch. Using a standard Read 1 sequencing primer (e.g., Illumina Multiplex Read 1 Sequencing primer) is not recommended, as it will sequence through the poly(A) homopolymeric region, resulting in decreased read quality.
For Element AVITI™ sequencers:
- The CSP provided in the QS REV 24-rxn kit is not sufficient for an AVITI sequencing run. Please add Cat. No. 245.01 to your QS REV order. Both tubes can be combined (same primer, same concentration).
- The CSP provided in the QS REV 96-rxn kit is sufficient for a single sequencing run. For additional runs, please order Cat. No. 245.01 (one tube per additional sequencing run).
