Description
The miRVEL Profiling PCR Add-on and Reamplification Kit contains a PCR Mix, a thermostable polymerase, pre-mixed qPCR primers for miRVEL Profiling for 96 qPCR reactions and pre-mixed reamplification primers. By adding SYBR Green I to the PCR reaction a qPCR assay can be set up to determine the optimal number of cycles for the endpoint PCR of your miRVEL Profiling cDNAs.
ATTENTION: this kit is not compatible with miRVEL Discovery cDNAs – for qPCR assays of miRVEL discovery use the PCR Add-on and Reamplification Kit V2 (Cat. No. 208)!
The qPCR assay is recommended to determine the exact number of cycles for the endpoint PCR in order to prevent any under- or overcycling of your library. Undercycling may result in too low library yield, while overcycling can lead to distortions in gene expression values.
In addition, the reamplification primer mix (RE) can be used to reamplify barcoded final libraries to increase the yield for sequencing and rescue low-yield libraries.
