Description
CORALL for Blood is Lexogen’s stranded RNA library prep kit with excellent whole transcriptome coverage specifically validated on blood samples. CORALL enables streamlined generation of Illumina-compatible libraries within 4.5 hours, featuring seamless integration of Unique Molecular Identifiers (UMIs) and exceptional protocol-inherent strand specificity (>99 %). The fragmentation-free protocol uses Lexogen’s proprietary Strand Displacement Stop and Ligation technologies which are ideal for processing blood samples and already degraded RNA. All CORALL for Blood bundles are delivered with Lexogen UDI 12 nt Unique Dual Indexing Sets for Unique Dual Indexing.
Combining a poly(A) selection step with CORALL RNA-Seq for Blood allows to focus whole transcriptome sequencing reads on mRNA of the blood without wasting reads on globin mRNA. See our FAQs for a short protocol: mRNA selection and CORALL for Blood.
