The Job

The role

The Technical Assistant will join our Quality Control team in Vienna, Austria to help maintain the excellent quality of our RNA-Seq products.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct QC experiments for all Lexogen products (RNA-Seq library preparation, RNA extraction, cDNA amplification)
  • Compile product stability tests
  • Perform primary data analysis
  • Document and report on QC results

  • Attention to detail and work at the highest quality standards
  • Good pipetting skills and practice in the lab
  • Ability and flexibility to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Independent working style and good organizational skills
  • Excellent command of English

You

Your experience and know-how

  • MSc, BSc or FH diploma or equivalent degree in life sciences
  • Proficiency in working with nucleic acids and NGS workflows

Remuneration will be based on experience and performance and is negotiable.
Please note, according to the Austrian Collective Agreement for Utilisation Group III, the legal, minimum, full-time salary for this position is EUR 2,093,98 paid 14 times per annum.
